On August 2nd, 2021 our beloved Associate Pastor and Song Leader Brother Tom Earnest went home to his heavenly reward. He was so dearly loved by the Spoken Word Tabernacle Congregation, and we all will miss him more than words can express.  We thank God for His mercy in this difficult time, and trust He will continue to bring healing and comfort to Brother Tom's Family, Friends and Church body.

In Loving Memory

TOM EARNEST

DECEMBER 4TH 1958 - AUGUST 2ND, 2021

James Thomas Earnest was born on December 4th, 1958 in Brownsville, TN and departed to his heavenly reward on August 2nd 2021. Tom was married for 36 years to his faithful wife Sandi.  He was a devoted father to their children Joshua Earnest, Jessica James (h. Jared), Stephanie Tucker (h. Matthew), and a doting Grandfather to the joys of his heard Madelyn, Micah, Luke and Joel James and Clara Tucker.  He was preceded in death by his parents Doris Ann and James Edward Earnest.  Tom was a true soldier for Jesus Christ and his burden for others to know the Lord took him and Sandi on many travels across the United States, Canada, and a abroad preaching God's Word over 41 years of ministry. He fought the good fight and laid up treasures in Heaven with a life lived for others. Tom will be greatly missed by countless family and friends but his encouragement will live on in each heart he touched until we meet again.
